A bit of New York styling. Characters

SOME PEOPLE I CAME ACROSS

* Woman's voice at Grand Central Station. Mid 20s. Tired. Strong New York Accent:

"Attention! Attention passengers. The 4.42 Train to Newark is delayed three minutes. Could all passengers proceed to Platform B. Thank you." Two to three seconds later... "Attention! Attention passengers boarding the 4.42 train to Newark. This service is now cancelled. Thank you." About half a minute later... "Attention! Attention passengers. The 4.42 Train to Newark is now boarding. Thank you."

* A man and woman. Late 30s. Man looks like average Joe. Tall. Woman wearing White rimmed sunglasses, fake fur jacket, dirty jeans. They are on opposite sides of the road.

MAN: Give it up already!
WOMAN: You are a dirty, scheming c**t! You deserve everything you get -
MAN: You look like a total prositute Beth!
WOMAN: - and no one will go out with you because you have every disease - what do you mean I look like a prostit - you know what it's over -
MAN: It's so over. BITCH!
WOMAN: You are such an asshole Marty. Go cry on your mother's bed, go suck on her teat...
At this stage I was the only one staring and got a wildeyed look from the woman and buggered off quickly

*Handsome young black man on the street. 19. Looks like he's made an effort to dress. Holding a CD player and headphones.

"y'all this is my new soundtrack. I wrote, performed and produced it maself. You can be one of the first to hear Famous Seamus.... Come on lady, want to listen to this. You like rap-fusion? Right over here, a first for New York city! Famous Seamus on the streets, it'sdope."
